Post-Portfolio Burnout

I had huge plans for my spring break you know. A list a mile long of things I wanted to work on, personal projects I've been mulling over and sketching for over a year. Did I do any of that? Nope. I prowl the net looking at other peoples work wishing I was half as driven. The rest feels good though, I start again next quarter with two printmaking classes an art history and a painting class. So perhaps its for the best that I let my brain rest. Well my pigs and blanket are ready.

What the duck.

Today was so gorgeous I had to take some photos at the arboretum. But it was really funny this morning the ducks caused a traffic jam when they all decided to cross the street on mass but at least they were polite enough to actually use the crosswalk.

New year, new look

I finally got around to making this blog my own again. and I'm so glad. As you might have guessed life got the best of me and this blog has remained neglected. But now I'm back! And I have so much to tell and show off, so stay tuned!

Is it my birthday??

No. But I've sure got a lot of fun things coming! After a financial kerfuffle with DB over a back ordered item (they were actually very nice and very English speaking) I exchanged that money over to buy myself one of these:

a #6 to be exact.

As well as triumphantly winning a lot of 75 winsor newton artist grade tubes on ebay (my new crack holy shit) at approx $2.00 a tube, I'm feeling quite smug.
I'm still waiting on...
a new bag
palette
and 4 books

I have 40 new colors to arrange in a palette with 20 wells. I can't stand the pressure! I means I have to be selective and it breaks my heart.

oh. OH. AND This site is FANTASTIC

I will hopefully awe you tomorrow with pictures of my productivity
